Reminder our May Day event is this coming Sunday, May 4th, 6-8pm. A May Pole Dance, bonfire, Bannock bread, and more will be shared in a family friendly evening to welcome spring and remember some of the early settlers of the valley that brought these traditions to the colonies. This will be lawn event, so bring a blanket or folding chair and join us. Many of the fun aspects of our Appalachian Old Christmas show back up in the May Day Spring Celebration, a bonfire, predicting the future, determining a fool of the day with food like the king with the bean cake. We also hope to have a spring wreath making station as well. Free event but donations are appreciated.
